Matthew is still in the hospital and probably will be until Monday. We are hoping he is able to go home then so he can be home for his birthday on Tuesday. This should be his last admission if everything goes as expected. Today was a long day. The poor little man fell in the tub and got a big bump on his head.

What is AML?
An aggressive (fast-growing) disease in which too many myeloblasts (immature white blood cells that are not lymphoblasts) are found in the bone marrow and blood. Also called acute myeloblastic leukemia, acute myelogenous leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, acute nonlymphocytic leukemia, and ANLL.

Kids get sick at the blink of an eye, but they also recuperate just as fast. I'm sure by Monday Matthew will be feeling more like his old self and will enjoy his birthday. Our prayers are with all of you. Love ya, amj
