Not today

We had some high hopes of going home today but, alas, Matthew is sticking around for another night (at least).  He is scheduled for a spinal MRI first thing in the morning to potentially identify if there is anything that is making it painful for him to walk.  He received his second dose of local chemotherapy today via his Ommaya reservoir and proceded to throw up all over the place and then had a complete blow out of his diaper.  I was able to cuddle with him for a bit this afternoon which made my day.

I think I may put together a non-santioned unofficial welcome guide for new guests of 4 West.  Would contain helpful information such as which buttons are ok to press and which buttons are not ok to press.  Here are the only buttons I am allowed to press..

Poor little guy. Give him kisses for me. Hopefully he can go home as soon as you get your answers from the tests tomorrow. Praying for you all.

Dear Gene and Nicole,

The furi-blog continues to circulate to my prayer e-circle. Many of my friends are asking about the bone marrow issues and if there is anything we folks out here can do. Any advice? We feel helpless!

We miss and love you, Peg and Michael

Gene and Nicole,
Our God is an awesome God! Keep praying, screaming and yelling at him - He can handle it and He can carry your burdens! Praying for you all! From what I can tell, being a woman and having four kids, I wouldn't be a better candidate for the stem cell treatment needed than the one you've already found?
Praying for your whole family, the medical staff and a cure!

Blessings,
KJ
